A brief introduction…
Hi! My name is Megan Valerie and I am a UK wedding photographer located in North Wales.
Growing up, I was completely fascinated with old family photos. Whether I knew the people in them or not, I would get lost in the emotions and imagine the story behind each one. So when I was given the opportunity to learn to use a camera at the age of ten, I knew I had to learn the art of capturing special moments and transforming them into everlasting images, to be cherished for generations to come.
I believe your wedding day deserves nothing less than extraordinary photographs to capture your most magical memories. With my passion, skill and dedication, I will go to every length to ensure that every precious moment is beautifully preserved, allowing you to relive the love, joy and emotions for a lifetime and beyond.

There is no cap on the number of images I will provide you with. If I take 500 great photos, you can be assured that each one will be retouched accordingly and presented to you for no extra cost!

Yes! I am insured for both public liability and professional indemnity. If you or your venue require specific details or proof of this, please don’t hesitate to ask as I will be more than happy to provide.

All travel within North Wales (Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy and Flintshire) and Cheshire is absolutely free of charge. If you’re looking to get married outside of these counties and wish to book me as your photographer, all you need to do is get in touch for a quote! I love to travel, so I always aim to keep my travel fees down to an absolute minimum.

To put it simply: the limit does not exist. I am a keen traveller with a passion for exploring new places, and the ability to do so as part of my job is the absolute dream! If you’re planning a destination wedding to Greece or an elopement to Gretna Green, I am all in.

Yes, I prefer to! I speak to all of my clients directly and work closely with them throughout the process to make sure that I get to know them as much as possible before the big day.
By getting to know you before the big day, I’m able to find the moments that are most important to you and your partner, and individually edit the images in a style that best reflects the image itself, as well as you both as a couple.
This layer of intention throughout the process creates so much more meaning to your gallery and tells the story of your day, memorialising it for years to come.
Prior to the big day, I can also help you plan out your day to get the most out of your package: for example, the best times to take certain photographs, ideas for more unique portraits, etc. I am here to help you however I can!

I would describe my work on a wedding day as 90% candid imagery and 10% lightly prompted poses.
Whilst I work closely with you before and after your big day, I plan in such a way as to interfere as little as possible on the day itself. The times for portraits and group photos are always pre-planned, so you don’t need to worry about a thing! For most of the day, I will blend into the background and work quietly and efficiently in order to capture all the little moments you might have missed, as well as the big ones you’ll wish to relive.
I love to edit in black & white, but I totally appreciate that this is just personal preference, and so I usually offer photographs in both black & white and in colour when I feel the image allows for it! It all comes down to the feeling of the image and what it captures, as well as what you’re looking for from your gallery.
